With sustainability now becoming an increasingly important issue we are seeing greater changes in the attitudes and habits of both individuals and businesses who are increasingly becoming more eco-conscious.
It is therefore becoming more important than ever for us all to have a greater understanding of the steps we can take, as individuals and businesses, toward greater sustainability and how we can help to create a more sustainable business culture.
SightCare as part of its Sustainability in Practice campaign, is working with the Skills Network to offer its members access to the Understanding Environmental Sustainability Level 2 qualification.
The fully funded course is delivered via distance learning allowing learners to choose when and where they wish to study. Using an individualised curriculum plan, created to maximise learners’ development, the course is also supported by a team of Learner Support Advisors .
“It’s important that individual businesses act now to do what they can to take ownership of sustainability and start to build awareness and ownership among members of their business teams to Identify areas where greater sustainability can be promoted,” says SightCare Chief Executive John French. “Small changes can make a big difference to a business, and it is important to start the journey as soon as possible. This Level 2 qualification course in Understanding Environmental Sustainability is an ideal opportunity for our SightCare members and their teams to begin their journey.”
