New campaign to launch at 100%

If you’re at 100% Optical this weekend, make sure you take the time to visit the ABDO stand to see the stunning graphics, which will form part of a new campaign reaching out to employers to let them know about the benefits of employing a dispensing optician (DO) or contact lens optician (CLO).

ABDO head of communications, Antonia Chitty, said: “This campaign is based on research with employers. It will help employers understand more about what DOs and CLOs can offer their business, and make sure that they are valued.

“It will also help employers who are considering their practice skill mix to understand more about how training a DO could enhance the business in so many ways.”
