ABDO has announced the nominees for its 2024 Board elections, and invited members to vote online.

Nominations for the ABDO Board elections closed at 5pm on Friday 14 June.

The following 11 ABDO members were nominated to serve on the ABDO Board from November 2024 to November 2027:

  • Tina Arbon Black BSc (Hons) FBDO CL
  • Deborah Bill BSc (Hons) FBDO Chartered MCIPD

  • Rizwaan Makda BSc (Hons) FBDO CL
  • Owen Miles FBDO
  • Kirsteen Newman FBDO

As there are only five vacancies, a ballot is being held – with ABDO members able to vote for a maximum of five members.

In accordance with ABDO’s sustainability commitments, the ballot is being held online and managed by CIVICA – formerly Electoral Reform Services.

An email was sent from CIVICA to ABDO members on 12 July: members should look for an email from TakePart@civica.co.uk. Any members who have not received an email should contact ABDO Membership.

Votes must be cast by midday on Tuesday 27 August 2024 – and the results will be published on the ABDO website on 16 September 2024.
