Sales support Elton John Aids Foundation

Modstyle’s Pride frame was among the eyewear pieces celebrated at boutique Australian trade show, O-Show 24.

The vibrant, socially-conscious style received the 2024 Outstanding Frame award (RRP under AU$300). Kahiko Maui Jim won in the sunglass category (under AU$300), Sunshades Eyewear’s Nefertari – Camilla won the AU$330 and over eyewear category, and Noo’s Rocket Man by Cutler & Gross claimed the AU$300 and over sunglass award.

The ‘people’s choice’ awards were made by canvassing eyecare professionals through Australian trade body ODMA’s print publication, as well as via social media and online channels.

“We are incredibly proud to receive this award for our Pride frame,” said Modstyle CEO, Mark Wymond.

“This accolade reflects our commitment to creating high-quality, affordable eyewear that not only looks great but also makes a positive difference in the world. We sincerely thank everyone who voted for us and supported our mission.”

Crafted using a complex lamination technique, the frame is celebrated for its striking rainbow-coloured acetate – and is said to embody inclusivity and diversity.

In addition, Aus$5 from every sale is donated to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
