OSA welcomes new 100% Optical owner

The Optical Suppliers Association (OSA) has welcomed Closer Still as the new owner of 100% Optical.

Association chair, Roy Stoner, expressed the view of the OSA Board, saying: “Closer Still is an international exhibition organisation with a strong portfolio of shows, and extensive experience, particularly in the healthcare sector, particularly dentistry, pharmacy and the veterinary market.

“Their experience with dentistry shows is bound to bring new initiatives, and ideas, to 100% Optical. Also, we are delighted that some of the longstanding 100% Optical team are moving over to the new company and bringing the past decade of experience and knowledge of the market with them,” Roy added.

The OSA added that it was expecting the 2025 edition of the show (1-3 March) to be “the most important event of the optical calendar for the profession and for OSA members who supply the equipment and technology for the world’s most advanced eyecare”.
