Job description

Optical assistant needed to join our thriving family run independent opticians in Norwich. We are a well established independent opticians with a loyal customer base of all ages. We have great customer reviews and a reputation for clinical excellence.
Optical assistant roles will include but not limited to (training will be provided where necessary):
meeting and greeting customers
dispensing frames and lenses to all levels including varifocals
providing contact lens advice
taking measurements and making necessary adjustments
inputting and updating clinical records on the computer system
booking appointments
dealing with admin and filing
maintaining a clean and organised shop floor
full-time hours required and must include Saturdays

Requirements:
previous experience working as an optical assistant is ideal
excellent communication skills
computer literate
ability to deliver exceptional customer service
be able to work well within a small team
adapt to learn about new technology in the optical field and use this knowledge everyday

Working hours

9-5.30 5 days per week, to include Saturdays. No Sundays or Bank Holidays
