You can train as a Dispensing Optician in Malaysia with the Axismatics Institute which offers three intakes each year. Examinations take place in Malaysia.

If you have a dispensing qualification already and wish to practice in the UK you will need to apply to the General Optical Council. They will require a copy of the dispensing syllabus you trained with and any other relevant material to map your qualification so that they can let you know whether you qualify for any exemptions from the examinations required to practice as a dispensing optician in the UK.
