ABDO launches Annual Plan 2023

ABDO has launched its Annual Plan for 2023, which will guide its work over the coming year on behalf of members.

The Annual Plan involves a wide range of activities to enable ABDO to support and represent members, promote awareness of their roles, enable their professional development and advance the profession as a whole. It incorporates a new purpose, vision and values for the organisation.

The Association has six priorities for 2023, in line with its vision and values:

  • To review, enhance and promote the products, services and benefits that ABDO provides for members
  • To raise awareness of members’ roles among employers and other stakeholders
  • To review and clarify ABDO’s priorities in relation to enabling members’ professional development
  • To ensure that ABDO is equipped as an organisation to meet the needs of members in both the short and long-term
  • To advance the profession by developing and implementing ABDO’s research strategy
  • To review ABDO’s international activity to ensure that we are delivering sustainable benefits for members

ABDO president, Daryl Newsome, said: “Our Annual Plan showcases the unrivalled range of activity we will be carrying out for our members in 2023. We will be relentlessly focused on providing value for our members at the same time as highlighting the value which they bring to patients and practices throughout the UK.”
