Shamir Optical Industry has renewed its agreement with BWT Alpine F1 Team to be its Optical Performance Partner.

The extended collaboration gives BWT Alpine F1 Team continued access to the company’s optical lens technology, and marks a continued commitment from both Alpine and Shamir following four years of development success.

BWT Alpine F1 Team already uses several specialised projects and initiatives from the vision performance labs of Shamir, part of the EssilorLuxottica Group.

Shamir was instrumental in evaluating the team’s needs for advanced visual performance and delivering advanced safety equipment and precision lenses for optimum vision.

The development process for Shamir’s Driver Intelligence lenses, launched in 2023, incorporated feedback directly from the BWT Alpine F1 Team.
