Dry eye – free CPD webinars

Education events are on offer in the run up to July’s Dry Eye Awareness Month.

CPDpoints.com has teamed up with Scope eyecare to run two sessions.

1. Cosmetics conundrum: ocular surface friend or foe? Wednesday 7 June, 7pm to 8pm

Optometrist and dry eye specialist Sarah Farrant will review  products that are frequently used around the eye and its adnexa, focusing on ingredients. She will discuss how eyecare professionals should advise patients.

2. Dry eye: a personal perspective Wednesday 21 June, 7pm to 8pm

Peter Charlesworth, optometrist and chief executive of CPDpoints.com, takes the audience through his journey from someone who manages patients’ dry eyes to managing his own. He will discuss his presenting symptoms at differing stages of dry eye disease, review his diagnosis and look at the different treatments that work for him.
