Eyecare professionals can now take advantage of ‘early bird’ rates and register for this year’s BCLA Clinical Conference and Exhibition, taking place at Manchester Central from 9-11 June.
The three-day event is designed to showcase world class clinically relevant research whilst nurturing new researchers, clinicians and young academics to present at this level – with keynote speakers including Frank Schaeffel and Dr Gregory Sawyer.
The BCLA Medal Address will be presented by Professor Eric Papas while Dr Sonia Trave-Huarte will deliver the Irving Fatt Memorial Lecture. There will be dedicated lecture tracks, hands-on workshops and free sessions at the exhibitor pavilion. At least 45 CPD points are expected to be available.
BCLA chief executive, Luke Stevens-Burt, said: “Having switched to a virtual conference in 2021 due to Covid, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone in real-life once again. It promises to be a weekend to remember, featuring a host of passionate speakers who can inspire eyecare professionals to make a real difference to patients’ lives and ensure we are ‘always learning’.”
A series of social events to be held throughout the conference will give delegates the opportunity to network with fellow eyecare professionals.
Early bird registration is now open on all delegate packages with even greater savings for BCLA members. Group discounts are also available for those wishing to book five or more delegate packages. The early bird offer will run until 31 March 2023.
Eyecare professionals can submit papers and posters to be considered for inclusion at the conference, with a final submission date of 6 February.
