The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is hosting a webinar this evening on Nidek EyeCee One preloaded and EyeCee One Crystal preloaded intraocular lenses (IOLs).
The webinar – at 7pm on Monday 13 February – is aimed at optometrists, dispensing opticians and General Ophthalmic Services (GOS) contractors in England.
The webinar has been developed in response to the recent IOLs patient safety alert, which was issued by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.
The NHSBSA’s clinical team will present a 30-minute webinar where they will guide attendees through the GOS process for patients who are affected by the IOLs safety alert. As part of this, the clinical team will explain the appropriate process to report intraocular pressure and how to accurately submit a GOS form for the service provided.
The webinar is free and worth 0.5 CPD points.
