Independent eyewear designers and manufacturers will be at the heart of 100% Optical in 2024. New brands exhibiting at the London show, running from 24-26 February, include Vakay Eyewear, Neubau Eyewear, Frost Eyewear and Ultra Limited.
The biggest independent line-up to date, held in The Studio area, will highlight the latest innovations from brands such as SALT, Einstoffen, Gotti, Orgreen, Blackfin and Leisure Society. They will highlight sustainability and environmentally-friendly materials.
Show director, Marlon Cera-Marle, said: “Ten years ago 100% Optical launched to give independents a national platform to shine, so naturally this has always been an area of focus for us. Highlights from the show earlier this year demonstrated the increasing popularity of The Studio industrial space and so we adjusted the floor space accordingly to make room for more brands joining and an incredible display of innovative optical designs that hero sustainability.
“The positive conversations the whole team is having and the exciting plans we’re making are all aligning to bring over 10,000 optical professionals and eyewear enthusiasts from around the globe together once again for the biggest celebration to mark a decade of the show.”
Robyn Milner, head of brand and communication, Nikon Lenswear UK, said: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring The Studio bar again this year and bringing the community of premium optics together. Throughout 100% Optical 2024 we will be showcasing the Nikon difference when it comes to supporting luxury premium businesses, from our newest and true innovations to the unparalleled value of our Nikon Lenswear Partner Programme.
The education programme was developed with the Association of Optometrists. It includes over 100 hours of CPD sessions across 12 diverse hubs. There is a range of workshops, keynote lectures, discussions, peer reviews and interactive poster trails.
