The International Opticians Association (IOA) has decided to postpone its 2020 summit, due to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 7-13 June.
In a statement, the IO said: “It is with deep regret that we inform you of the postponement of the IOA Summit. We ask for your patience whilst we work through the implications of the global Covid -19 pandemic and advice from authorities and government.”
The IOA is currently in discussions with hotels, venues and industry partners and working hard to secure a future date for the summit.
Summit registrations may be carried forward to the new date or refunded in a phased fashion by the organisers.
