EssilorLuxottica is running a series of online seminars for eyecare professionals (ECPs) on its latest lens innovation, Varilux XR series. These will be hosted on the company’s learning platform, Leonardo, and are designed to give ECPs a deeper understanding of the new lens.
An initial one-hour session will run on Tuesday 16 May around binocular performance, led by industry expert Professor Mo Jalie and Essilor professional relations manager, Dr Andy Hepworth, worth two CPD points. A full training programme will then commence on 30 May.
Alan Pitcher, commercial director for EssilorLuxottica wholesale lenses, said: “The sessions will help get our ECP business partners all set to provide the new Varilux lens to their patients, while also providing an extra opportunity to gain invaluable CPD points.”
