The first 200 UK-based practitioners to register for this year’s Love Your Lenses campaign will receive both a printed and online resource pack, including t-shirts, pens, stickers, posters and digital assets.
Love Your Lenses Week is organised annually by the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) and this year takes place from 4-10 September. Whilst the campaign is UK-based, international practitioners can also take part by registering for digital assets.
Chief executive of the BCLA, Luke Stevens-Burt, said: “The BCLA is passionate about the role contact lenses play in eye health– and we know eyecare professionals around the world are too. They can change lives for the better and we want the eye health community to join us as we share important messages with the public about contact lenses.
“The campaign raises awareness of safe contact lens wear and the benefits of wearing contact lenses while sharing stories of the life-changing impact lenses have had on people from all walks of life. We want to inspire eyecare professionals to get talking about contact lenses and highlight the importance of high-quality aftercare for continued healthy lens wear – and also sourcing their contact lenses from reputable, legal retailers,” Luke added.
