Millmead Optical Group has launched a business support package for customers as they get back on their feet.
James Conway, CEO of Millmead Optical Group, explained: “We have been looking at ways we can support the industry as everything starts to reopen after this tumultuous time. Our normal payment terms are 30 days from the end of the month. We have decided to offer extended payment terms of 60 days from the end of month for all invoices raised from 1 July 2020 onwards.
“Initially this will run until 30 September 2020 – but we may extend this programme further. This is available to any and all optical practices in the UK as long as they are currently paying to terms up to 30 June 2020.
“We believe that it is important to help and support each other during these troubled times, and would like to thank all customers who have already ordered products from Continental Eyewear, Jai Kudo lenses, Total-PPE.co.uk and Optoplast cases and accessories.
“Our area managers are raring to go from 1 July and we felt it was the right time to launch this measure with a view to safeguarding the future of our independent optical partners.”
The extension applies to existing and new customers. Each existing customer must be adhering to current credit terms to qualify and meet general credit criteria. Applies to all orders invoiced from 1 July 2020 until 30 September 2020.
