Tom Duncan has joined Marcolin as commercial director for the UK and Ireland.
Tom joins the Italian eyewear firm from the fashion industry, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in brand commercial and marketing roles across wholesale, retail and digital channels. He has spent the past three years working with fashion licensing specialist, the Brand Machine Group, most recently as group brand director.
“We are very pleased that Tom Duncan will support us with immediate effect in the development of distribution and the continued success of our brands in the UK and Eire,” said Stephan Hinkerode, general manager for Marcolin UK. “Together with our sales team, he will be a strong partner for our customers.”
In his new role, Tom will be responsible for the strategic development of the entire Marcolin brand portfolio – supporting the sales team in the field

In other news, Marcolin and MCM, the German luxury fashion house born in 1976 in Munich, have signed an exclusive license agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of MCM Eyewear until 31 December 2028.
Marcolin will develop MCM’s eyewear collections following the founding values of the brand: craftsmanship, design and sustainability. The first MCM sunglasses and optical collection produced by Marcolin will be available from January 2024.
