Optix joins with iPro and Amparex

Optix Software has joined with two of the largest European PMS providers (iPro and Amparex), and the three businesses together will form the Evex Group.

The combined group supports more than 7,000 optical and audiology sites operating across Europe. Trevor Rowley will remain as managing director of Optix Software working alongside the current directors, Andrew Harrison, Lee Atkinson and Tom Bean.

Dr Toni Schmidt, the CEO of Evex Group, commented: “The Evex Group is the clear market leader in the German-speaking PMS-world. Being able to welcome the leading UK player to the Group is genuinely thrilling. From my first conversation with Trevor, it was clear to me that Optix would be the ideal match for our two existing PMS providers, Amparex and IPRO. This will enable us to deliver the best systems and services to our customers today and in the future.”
