Optrafair opens call for presentations

Reinvigorated programme planned for 2020

Optrafair has opened its call for presentations to be made at its 2020 show next April.

Optrafair plans to return to the NEC Birmingham in 2020, from 4-6 April, with a reinvigorated show filled with brand-new features, innovative exhibitors and live demonstrations.

The organisers are now giving members of the professions and industry the chance to get involved by submitting session ideas for the Optrafair Theatre programme. This will be the chance to showcase areas of study, research and progress in all walks of optical life, and to educate peers.

The programme team are looking for topics including (but not limited to):

• Frames
• Lenses
• Contact lenses
• General optometry
• Ophthalmology
• Technology
• Business (Finance, HR, legal, marketing, etc)
• Audiology
• Pharmaceuticals

Submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee, with successful applicants included alongside sessions from leading professionals in the field of optics.
