Past president leads Britain’s conversation

Immediate past president of ABDO, Clive Marchant, was a guest on the Nick Ferrari breakfast show on LBC radio this week, during a slot about the re-opening of non-essential retail.

However, the host was surprised to learn from Clive that optical practices had been open for the duration of lockdown to provide essential and/or urgent eye health care.

Clive went on to explain the sorts of eyecare services that practices had been providing during lockdown, as well as the extension of services introduced this month.
