More than 50 companies exhibited at Copenhagen Specs 2022 on 5 March in the city’s centennial train repair building, the Lokomotivvrkstedet.
Forced to cancel its 2020 edition the day before opening, Copenhagen Specs reported a successful rekindling of the independent eyewear business in Northern Europe, welcoming 608 visitors from 16 different countries including Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, Finland, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
CEO and founder of Copenhagen Specs, Morten Gammelmark, said: “It was such a joy finally being able to welcome the independent eyewear business to a Copenhagen Specs again after the period with cancelled trade shows due to Covid. But we could not succeed without the great support from the exhibitors and visitors, who stepped up and supported us. We are very grateful for that.”
Announced two years ago, the new Specs events continue with Barcelona Specs on 7-8 May in the cosy atmosphere of the Fira Barcelona Montjuic in the city centre.
