Professor Lyndon Jones is set to be the keynote speaker at two CPD evening events to launch a range of contact lens care products. The Cleadew range features disinfection by Povidone-iodine.
There are two sessions, one at 6pm, 4 June in the Midlands and one at 6pm, 5 June, in London.
Professor Jones has written over 400 professional papers and has given over 1,000 lectures worldwide.
The evenings are worth two interactive CPD points for DOs and five interactive CPD points for CLOs and optometrists. Attendees will get samples of the whole Cleadew range at the meetings and start-up stock, worth £115, afterwards.
Positive Impact managing director, Nick Atkins, said: “We are delighted to bring to the UK, for a rare appearance this year, one of the leading researchers and experts in the interaction of contact lens materials with their cleaning and disinfecting solutions.
“I believe practitioners underestimate the influence of lens care on the safety and comfort of their contact lens patients and this event is the beginning of an educational initiative to raise awareness of its importance.”
