In Part 2 of our Thinking Green series, we look at more ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
How are you getting on with maximising on the resources available to you, outlined in Part 1, and using them in your practice or business?
It’s a great idea to refill packaging when you can.
Can you:
• Offer free or discounted refills of glasses cleaner?
• Refill soap and cleaning liquid containers?
• Buy bulk sized or concentrated cleaning products?
Some moves toward sustainability can require a change in mindset. This month, why not start a conversation at work about how you might be able to:
• Upcycle, repair, sell or gift items used in practice
• Buy second-hand items for the business before buying new
• Encourage patients to reuse their own frames and cases
